Packed up early (well for us!) and went to reception to pay, a little surprised to find they had charged 7 euros extra for Sarah, most had been around 4. But it has been good here and the pool was great so we don’t mind too much.

Had a good run to the Cote du Azur, sticking mostly to A roads and using the ring roads around the bigger towns etc. It’s getting really hot so we had a couple of stops to cool off and found a Super U supermarket just off the A road so did a large shop as we don’t know how close the shops will be to the campsite. The scenery changed as we approached the Cote du Azur, with hills and vineyards getting closer until we were driving through them, it is very pretty.

Found the camp easily due to superb navigation (according to Lynn) and picked out a pitch, it was late afternoon and we were all a biut tired from the travelling so it was a relief everything was easy! The pitches are all really large, flat and have gravel or hard standing, as well as your own outhouse containing a shower, toilet and wash basin. What luxury!!
