4 nights at this small site, pitch 2. Very clean good facilities, friendly owner. Great walks to the river Wye 3 miles all down hill, so 3 miles all back uphill. Lovely walks along the river, first turned left and came back via the woods, 11 miles. Today turned right and followed the river in Wales. Found old railway line very flat. Salmon jumping in the river! Great pub in St Briavels, The George. Nice beer and cotswold gin! Great food especially seafood. Ask for GF. Real old pub like stepping back in time but Great time.

2022 Cirencester June 9th-12th
3 nights at C&MHC site. Great location for Cirencester. Walked in on Friday and bought Lynn the Mrs Armitage print. Had a walk around town before doing a walk out and around villages Straton and Baunton. Lovely walk. Went to the micro brewery open 3-7 Fri and sat, lovely beers in a courtyard. Sat had a walk around the park, lots of trails, found the polo club. Afternoon in the sun back at the van. Had a great takeaway from the South African van, must pre- order! Pitch 191 sunny in afternoons.
